The sale price was good but wet wheel didn’t last.

The wet wheel started to wobble on the shaft after sharpening several dozen knives. I don’t see a replacement wet wheel assembly on line.

Wet not even flat new out of box setup took way to long to get right angle for chisels.I wont try this with my hand planes.

Très bonne Affûteuse, pas dispendieux contrairement a d'autre produit similaire mais le triple du prix , vous aller vous amuser coyer moi très simple a utiliser , mais a utiliser avec soin , lunette de protection et gans sont de mise . Bon Affûtage.

I would not buy a second time. It is better than some but still not very good.( I have migrated to a 30x1 belt sander to sharpen with.) I did try and use this unit for about 6 months. It is not up to my standard. The course wheel is way to rough. the fine sharpening wheel is better but would be better thought of as a medium cut. (mine was slightly out of round as well). The guide/rest is difficult to set and flexes too much. With my present setup (30x1 belt 300grit course, 600 grit medium, and 1000 grit fine and polish with a leather strop.) I can easily produce razor sharp finishes. I gave this unit to "the Salvation Army Thrift Store"
No, I do not recommend this product.
