Perfect tool for enlarging a hole in steel!

I had to replace a tire on a wheelbarrow, but needed to enlarge the hole for the axle in the 1/4" steel plates through which the axle passed. I needed the 3/8" hole to be 5/8" - this bit made it seem like I was drilling through soft pine, and the hole even gets finished off nicely with a chamfered edge. A useful carrying case keeps the 3 bits together in my toolbox. Very effective and useful tool.

Q: Will these step drill bits work on Plexiglass ?

  • A: These step drill bits can work on plexiglass, the thickness of plexiglass to be drilled can not exceed the height of the step drill steps, in addition some diamond hole saws can also work on plexiglass, such as sku 054-7954, 054-7955, 054-7956, 054-7957, 054-7958, 054-7959, 054-7960, 054-7961 and 054-7962.

Q: Is there a chart of sizes somewhere on line I have difficulty reading the engraved values in the flukes. getting the bits out of the packaging tore the label and I have lost a portion of the label so I am not sure of the sizes.
