Tire Hooks

The hooks themselves are great. The issue are the poor quality plastic anchors which don't grip when the lag screws are inserted. I tried multiple size drill bits to create the holes to no avail. I did read w similar review before I purchased these but purchased anyway. If using for heavy tires, screw into studs only and if using for lighter things as I am, use better anchors.

Great Hooks, cheaped out on Harware

Putting in the first 2 lag bolts, I went nice and slow with a hand wratchet. and just before the bolt head made contact to the bracket 'snap".
the hooks itself looks like good quality, but why cheap out on the hardware that is supposed to keep it secure to the wall? A tire is not light. The provided hardware puts purchasers at risk. If you purchase, buy good hardware before you leave to install.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Not bad, they could be better

I just bought this and, like the previous reviewer, found out that you have to be very careful and gentle when screwing in the lag bolts as one snapped on me during install. Thankfully, I was able to get a replacement bolt from Canadian Tire with the help of a sales associate. That being said, the other issue I encountered was that the wall anchors are useless (too big for the size of lag bolt so they never catch hold when you screw them in), which means you're limited to only being able to install them where there's a stud. Overall, I think they're good enough for the job; but I'm uncertain on their durability.

The bolts holding the hooks to the wall sheared off, i replaced them with bolts one size bigger.
