I already had one of these and they are great to remove excess water on the balcony and stairs. Great also for snow removal on the car roof,it will not scratch the paint. They are at a great price now.

Q: Does it work on hardwood floors, Any help will be greatly appreciated.

A: Yes indeed it does. It is a "stiffer" broom (the rubber is not soft and bendy as with some brooms). I use on our hardwood floors (we have pets so it is extremely efficient) as well as carpets (it takes the hair off there like a boss). It was a good cost effective option compared to some of the other brooms and it works. I imagine it would be a good deck washing broom too (have not tried this yet).

A: The handle length should be 31-1/2"~55-1/8" the broom is 12.5" wide
