Very Pleased!

I just purchased this cabinet as well as the 3 drawer unit to sit on top.
My initials thoughts… I purchased these units because of the sturdy metal (21 gauge), the high quality paint finish and the very good set of caster wheels.
The drawer slides are good, not the very best but certainly good enough.
The supplied drawer liners are also good, not thick but they were included and
I didn’t have to purchase additional ones.
The lock and key system works very well.
Overall, I am very pleased with these units and I feel they are an exceptional value
at a time when anything metal or aluminum is priced ridiculously high.
P.S. I own Snap On tools and chests so I am aware what top of the line tool chests are like.
These are great for the homeowner or DIY .

Product damaged

Product is severely damaged. When I picked up the item, the staff made me wait for over 20 minutes while they chatted. I have email canadian tire regarding these issues and they have not responded to my emails. This will be my last purchase from what used to be a good quality and good service store.

Tool chest.

Good tool chest for organizing my auto tools. I picked this one because the drawer slides seemed quite smooth. Good combo of drawer sizes. Could be better if the drawers extended all the way out but it suits my needs as a budget option. Sadly it is full already so I may need to get the top drawer set too!

A: The Tool Cabinet is constructed of .046" steel, the drawers measure 0.041" steel and the push/pull handle attached to the side is 0.124" steel. Note these measurements include the thickness of the paint as well. The cabinets are very sturdily built as are the matching 26" tool boxes. I have one cabinet and two of the tool boxes. One of my tool boxes is fully loaded with mechanics tools and there is no flexing of the box when I move it into and out of my SUV. I highly recommend these items.

A: Yes the socket set and the trays will fit in this cabinet. The only drawer the sockets trays wont fit is the top drawer. The weight capacity of each drawer is 32Ibs
