Does your toolbox need to loose some weight? This will help.

I was working on a project for my brother and he had this kicking around his toolbox. Immediately I fell in love with ratcheting system. During this project I was on a skyjack and all over a building. Having a single screwdriver in my belt for all situations saved me lots of time digging through a tool bag. The rubber handle allows for a lot of grip to provide as much torque as needed. The ratcheting system is smooth and I have yet to find a torque limit on the gears. The base storage allows you to carry multiple types of heads. Cons: As others have said the only issue I had was that the base storage can be a challenge to store and remove bits in certain positions. Thoughts: Based on my experience I went ahead and purchased the ratchet and 7pc set. In hindsight I would have purchased the package with the long and short extension bars.

Bought it on sale, overall very impressed. Pros: -Solid construction -Smooth ratchet -Nice length -Standard nut size so should be able to use bits from other sets Cons: -almost impossible to get out of the packaging -bit housing is oddly shaped and doesn't come out quite far enough, making bit removal/insertion awkward sometimes

I'm blown away, The first time iv'e ever been so impressed about a Canadian Tire tool I recently got this one through warranty after my (older version) ratcheting screwdriver gears failed, I was given this one and it's outstanding the gear drive is so smooth 45 teeth! no other screwdriver iv'e seen has 45 tooth positions, Pros: -I found the handle so comfortable -Amazing gears -knurling on the shank drive (extremely usable) -Strong magnet! i can't stress enough about the 1/4 drive magnet collars -Storage of the bits in the handle Cons: The paint on the shaft scratches on anything

Punches way above it's weight

Even at regular price, you won't find a better ratchet screwdriver! The mechanism is super smooth and everything is nice and tight. The bits fit firmly in the handle and won't rattle around or fall out. The long shank with knurling on it is quite nice. I only wished they would have made the holder pull out further, it makes the loading/unloading of the bits a little awkward. The standard bits also mean you can put any 1" bit you like in it. I love it!

I use this for general around the house type of screwdriver. It's well built and the ratcheting is smooth. The bit storage is very convenient and like the placement. I would recommend this as an excellent general use screwdriver.
