Had previous Mastercraft ratcheting screwdriver which I loved but plastic handle broke when dropped on the garage floor from height - user error!). Bought this to replace it and wished I had read the reviews 1st. Had the same problems - large head didn't fit in the end of the handle for storage but wasn't worried because it could be stored on the large end of the shaft (actually, none of them fit in the middle hole so you need to keep one of the bits inserted in the shaft) . However, after having great difficulty getting the shaft inserted (ball bearing was sticky), discovered I couldn't get it back out so the large bits are useless now. Like the handle better though - feels better in the hand than the old one and the cap at the storage end doesn't twist off when using the screwdriver.

The ratchet seems to work fine, but there's not enough storage place in the handle for all the bits and once the extender is inserted is impossible to take back out. Also the one larger bit doesn't fit in the handle either. One of my worse buys.

Not a fan!

I was looking for a multi-head screwdriver and happened to be in CT when this one was on sale. Picked it up, took it home and before I could even use it, the little ball bearing popped out of the extender part and and now won't stay in. Perhaps I got a dud but I will be returning for something else...not replacing it.
