Bad design and poorly made

This screwdriver is very cheaply made of very thin plastic and soft aluminum for the stem. The stem was not aligned with the handle; it was ever so slightly angled, which could be felt when using it. The rachet control ring works the opposite of the two other racheting screwdrivers I have (one made by Stanley and another by Rolgear). On my other drivers, if you want to drive a screw clockwise, you rotate the rachet locking ring clockwise, and vice versa. On the Mastercraft it's the opposite: to rotate a screw clockwise you need to move the rachet ring counter-clockwise. To me this is really unintuitive. The onboard tool storage is implemented as a hollow handle with a lid that can be opened. So, any bits placed in there would rattle around when you are using the driver. This is annoying, I prefer when spare bits can be fitted into slots and not fly around. To top it all off, this driver set is fairly expensive, even on 50% sale (how I bought it). You can get much higher quality racheting drivers from major brands for just over $10 at regular price, which is what I recommend to anyone reading this review.

has seemingly every bit I will ever need

for around the home projects. I haven't used the ratcheted screwdrivers yet. I am using the bits with a drill driver. its future proof with the addition of the torx security bits with the holes in the middle. the case is a little weak: its good until it would be dropped then it would probably shatter based on the cheap plastic. but its also handy to carry around.
