Finally found a sale I could do.

I've wanted this battery as long as I've been using PowerXchange (about a year and a half.) The battery never goes on sale, but I found the Lithium Ion Hammer drill kit for $60 and all my tools suddenly have more power. This is a great addition. Save a buck and get it in a kit with another tool and a diagnostic charger.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

This battery only lasted a year, the battery does not charge anymore. Did not hold a charge for long. Mastercraft junk, go Bosch or Dewalt

Well worth the premium over NiCds, they run longer, charge faster, and will charge more time before croaking (no memory issues to speak of)

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Does the actual charger come with this battery?

    • A: I would recomend purchasing this battery with either the drill or hammer drill on sale. The diagnostic charger comes with both and both go on sale quite regularily for much less than the price of the battery itself. I almost considered lying to my wife about where the money went and buying two when the hammer drill set was on for $60. Another good way to go is to buy it as a part of the larger 4 or 5 peice PowerXchange tool kit for $160-$210 or less on sale with a couple extra NiCads for the flashlight and the Vacuum.

Q: Can I exchange my defective Drill for another? We recently purchased an 18V Li-ion Cordless Drill around father's day in 2009 but it stopped working. We can't locate the receipt. Date Code on the drill is 8459/0205 Date Code on the battery is 8459/0205

    • A: I found that Canadian Tire is very good about honoring the waranty on their products. Sometimes without a receipt. It depends on who you talk to and the nature of the problem.I bought a 3 tool kit and I killed my NiCads so quickly that they didn't seem worth it to me. I wanted to exchange the whole thing, but they suggested I just take a couple of new batteries instead, even without a receipt. Sometimes it depends on how you ask, but be honest.
