I bought this a few days ago. The box it came in was pretty thrashed a few pieces were missing when I enquirer about the state of the box I got blank stares and shrugged shoulders no help I called about the missing pieces and was put on hold for too long and gave up. Poor service poor packaging and no one cares. Product does not work as advertised as parts are missing.

Awesome planer

Had this for about 3-4 years. Finally used it, after finding proper hookup for my Dewalt Vacuum. Works incredibly well. I am a retired carpenter. Was not really expecting it to work so well. Very minimal mess with vacuum hooked up. Leaves very nice smooth board.

  • A: If you search for the product number of this model (055-6792) this is what you get. It says 12.5 inches and that's because the planer is in fact 12.5 inches. Q: Is this a 12" or 12.5" planer, will it accept 12 wide board

  • A: It is as 12.5 inch planer and it will accept 12 inch wide board. Note that the max cutting depth should be less than 1/32 inches (0.8mm). If you would like more information before making a purchasing decision, you can also consult the manual under the Resources tab of the product page. Page 5 of the manual will have more specifications.
