Bought this for my lawn mower of 25 odd years as the old cord had cracked in places. Mower works great. The wire does kink in places and required me to come back to it and move it around. It is heavy as you can expect with 12 gauge. Other than that it works perfectly

It's a long cord and since Ontario is cheaper than Manitoba in wiring its campsights, rather than daisy chaining two extension cords as we did on the first night of our camping we bought this 100 footer on sale for $101. Now we're more prepared no matter where we go camping.

Q: In Calgary was looking at this for my cars block heater plug. will it be flexible enough to coil up on cold days? Should I go down to 16 guage?

A: It rolls up easy as long as you know how to roll an ext cord. It will keep memory. Any heater should be running 12 gauge, it is unsafe to run a large load with a 16 gauge ext cord. The cord ends of 16 gauge get hot and deform / risk of fire.

A: It might not break but it will be very stiff. Used mine in sub -30C this week and it was uncooperatively stiff. Had to drag it inside in a mess until it warmed up enough to coil.

A: Pretty sure it's against code to bury portable power cable (extension cords) or use portable cable in permanent installations.
