Adequate piece set. the cutting blades heat up way too quick and were burning my trim. The abrasive grommet sander worker well. The triangle sanders are garbage, They are not perforated and clog quick. I will not buy again, although cheaper than the name brand. The name brand is better.

Q: Have you tried these blades with Dewalt? They do not fit as advertised. I have a brand new cordless Dewalt DCS355 oscillating tool. I got these blades because they advertised that they fit on Dewalt but they don't. Have to return them. Very disappointed because it was a great deal.

A: I agree with Oscillating man: these blades do NOT fit Dewalt - and the reviewer that says "just use the adapter" doesn't appreciate that the genuine Dewalt blades slide onto the Dewalt tool in ONE second, WITHOUT unscrewing the whole head assembly of the tool to get the blade on, the way you have to when using THESE blades with the Dewalt tool with the adapter. I bought SEVERAL of the Mastercraft corded tools and at least 150 Mastercraft blades before buying my Dewalt cordless oscillating tool. Part of the reason I bought more than one Mastercraft tool is it IS a pain to unscrew the bolt to change blades. Maybe you don't change often between wood or metal blades or the sanding block - but the Dewalt blades change in 1 second - painlessly, because they slide in with the speed of a race car. These Mastercraft don't. AND the sanding triangles are USELESS!!! After about a minute they no longer stick to the sanding hook and loop head.

A: No this is not normal. However, I have noticed that the quality of these blades are less than that of competitors. They don't maintain their edge very long, regardless of the material being cut.

A: Interestingly I bought this kit myself so that I would have a wide assortment of blades guaranteed to fit my own Mastercaft oscillating tool and they do fit well. Point being, staring me in the face the whole time, which I had missed, was the adapter disc which allows for the use of almost any manufacturers blade so either way you should be covered!
