Q: does this riveter use stainless steel rivets or only aluminum ?
8 years ago- A: Caveat on previous answer: It isn't designed for 3/16" (5mm) steel rivets (see the specs on the back of the packaging). I tried, and managed to get about 8 done with a lot of hard squeezing and multiple squeezes, however, the stems didn't break off and I had to cut them. I imagine the tool wouldn't last too long doing this.7 years agoHelpful?
