Very handy, but more expensive than I would like

Usual Mastercraft quality, good for odd tasks, not major projects. Extremely handy to keep in a shed or something that you just need the odd time, but don't want an entire second set of tools. Quite expensive though, even the sale price. I bought it on clearance and that was good value. I guess the socket wrench drives up the cost. The case is good, but the clip seems flimsy. Almost certain this will fly open unexpectedly at some point.

Some poor design

The case has holding places molded for tools but it is poorly designed, so that it doesn't hold the tools. I have trouble closing the lid every time, because the tools drop from their holding places. There is a protecting sheet made of soft styrofoam between the two compartments, but poorly designed and never fits where it is meant to be.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: No measuring tape or cutter? Does this kit not include a measuring tape, cutter or a leveller? That's disappointing. I can get the other kit with 42 pieces but that doesn't include the wrench and bits.

A: You are correct, it does not include the measuring tape or cutter. These sets are aimed at the mechanic or wood worker / carpenter and the tools reflect the intended function.
