milkhouse heater

I would never buy this again. used it twice. heard rattling and it shutdown. put it back in box to return it. couldn't. this year I opened the box and found a part had fallen out. the dreaded thermostat overheat had caused the tipover safety to melt out. should be a recall on this thing.

I bought one and it stopped working after a month ! Returned it and got a new one , it stopped working to .

Very dangerous

Worked for 1.5 years and is very noisy. Safety feature for fall over shutoff melted! Contacts corrode badly. This model is discontinued. Probably due to all the issues. surprised Canadian Tire is selling item with safety defect instead of purging stock. Please do not take the chance!

Q: We have a new milkhouse heater in our pump house to keep it warm for the pump to work from zero to -47 degrees C. IF IT FAILS, 43 BISON WILL DIE. Are we relying too much on this unit?

A: If you require the temp. strictly, we suggest use two of these heaters or with another Fan heater. This will more helpful.

A: The low watt is 1300W, the high watt is 1500W. As for BTU, we only have high setting, it is around 5000 BTU.
