Great for so many applications, drywall, woodworking, finish work. Can be used like a jigsaw or spin cut. Used it to make crib boards from very hard wood sliced through it like warm butter.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

A bit gimmicky, but does work for some things

My wife bought this for me 5 years ago when we bought our house. It proved useful making some cuts to fit flooring and transition mouldings. It broke during a spare bedroom reno when I tried to use it as a jigsaw. It was replaced under warranty, but subsequently, I lost the 1/4" collet, which isn't an easily replaced part. It has been sitting in my basement since and I just brought it out last week to make some cuts in new flooring around the hot water rads. It has disappointingly turned out to be a very niche tool with only a few uses.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I love using this tool as a one-handed router, but I agree that's it's jigsaw cutting abilities are too weak to market this as a multi-tool.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: But is it a JigSaw? Just wanted to know if this tool can be used as a regular JigSaw.........anyone? Thanks!

    • A: Andrew93 is right about the way the saw blade works, but to answer your question, YES the tool can be used as a jig saw. However, see the reviews of the product that say it is slow on heavy materials. It will make a smoother cut than a jig saw but will take more time on most materials.

Q: How loose is the handle on the circle cutting guide supposed to be? I just bought the saw yesterday on sale to replace a broken jigsaw. I wanted to use it today but the handle seems very loose. Should I return it for another? It is too loose to be of any help and there seems to be no was to tighten it.
