    Great wrenches no problem.

I have my set for many years now, one set for work and one for home since I do work from home too. I work in a heavy duty shop and had no problem with these and use them quite often. The smallest one which is 5/16 has just started to slip on the set I use at work so I took it back and they gave me a brand new one with no question asked. I know it is my fault for using it to do jobs more than the specified recommended torque it's designed to handle but withstand it for years so I can't complain. I can without a doubt recommend these wrenches to anyone wheather professional or DIY jobs, this works.

    Not great

These wrenches have a slight bend at the box end like most combination wrenches. The problem I found is that the box (ratcheting) end of the wrench can only be put on the nut (/bolt head) one way. It has a little flange preventing you from putting the wrench over a nut of bolt head with the wrench flipped around. This seriously limits your ability to use the ratcheting wrench in tight spaces which is one of the main benefits of a ratcheting wrench! I did notice that other Mastercaft gear wrenches don't have that flange. Took them back.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: Is that little flange & slight bend at the box end still exists? The product I am interested in, Maximum Dual Ratcheting Wrenches (7 and 12-pc sets. Ratchets on both open and box ends. Lifetime warranty. 58-1248X). The above issue was brought up by an review on Jan 16, 2014 and I hesitate to buy this product.
