Good work on a very odd job

I used it to clean the bottom of the inside of a saucepan with bad coating of pure carbon, from a sugar solution that had been left on the heating element until all the water evaporated and the sugar was roasted down to hard black carbon. The finest grit cleaned it up and left a good shine on the bottom of the steel pot. A smaller disc/pad would have made it easier to clean up the centre of the pot
