Bough it for the miter saw on sale. Worked very well. Holds the wood level for better cuts. Assembly is straight forward.

Solid Stand

I bought this stand when I bought my Maximum Mastercraft 12" sliding dual bevel mitre saw. It says it fits a 12" mitre saw, which it does, but it takes a bit of tinkering to get the saw into the quick clamps. I had to buy some larger washers for the bolts that attach the saw to the clamps and you have to take off the rubber footings off the saw. I also bought some shorter bolts to attach the saw to the clamps. You don't have to but the bolts that come with it are so long. Other than that little hiccup, the stand is sturdy and the saw quickly clamps on. Overall I'm happy with it.

Great addition to my tool collection

Just purchased this unit yesterday on sale at my local store. At it's regular price it was a very competitive value, At the flyer price a spectacular value, easy to unbox and assemble. I don't find a lack of rollers to be an issue and likely a good weight savings, as wood slides easily across the extension supports. A good sturdy work platform!
One small point was a missing adjustment screw and lock nut for the saw base adaptor which should be easy to source.

Material supports should of been 8 inches wider

Without doubt, this is a great stand at a sale price. It’s well designed and sturdy. Before buying this stand I looked at the picture and thought that material supports on each side were actually rollers that roll and help with the sliding of long and heavy work pieces but they are just metal tubing and act as support only. I also wish that the material supports were wider to support up to 12 inch wide pieces to mach my sliding miter saw functionality. Over all I am happy with the purchase.

Q: What is the maximum length you can use the stock stops for? I want to cut a bunch of studs to 8' lengths. I

A: The maximum length from one end stop to the other is 120". We are assuming you are making repetitive cuts at 8' in length. Due to the size of our table this won't be possible with our current end stop. The maximum repetitive cut length of the stand will vary depending on the size of the mitre saw and where it is positioned on the table. In order to provide a constructive response we feel it would be best to create a custom jig which attaches in a similar fashion and extends out to eight feet.
