Mastercraft FLT Clamps, 2-Pack

I really enjoyed using these clamps to help hang a shelf the other day. I thrifted a pair of shelves that are perfect for above the couch in my living room, when hanging them I had to flip one shelf over as one side was really scratched up. In the process I noticed how easily they marked, and that the other shelf was warped from not having been screwed in entirely. I used these flat spring clamps to help hold the shelves level while I marked where to put my anchors into the walls, and again while securing the shelves to the brackets. They worked great and did not leave any marks! The rubber coating on the edges is thick enough to provide a non-scratching barrier, but not so thick that it doesn't continue to provide even pressure across the full edge of the clamp. I could easily use them on ceramic or glass surfaces as well without worrying about marking things up. The handles are big enough to maneuver without causing my hands any difficulty as well- my kid has even used them to help hold blankets in place while making forts over the winter break. A win for all of us!

I used this or only for my arts and crafts but to secure wood when Im glueing it together and it has an awesome grip!!! Perfect size for some DYI projects around the house or for the professional!

We used these clamps for smaller projects around the house such as keeping a 4-tier hanger that we glues together and clamping some tarps up for some minor renovations in the bathroom - the clamps worked very well for these projects! The opening of the clamps is not extremely wide, so keep that in mind depending on the project, but for smaller projects we will definitely reach for these clamps again! Much easier to use than a C-clamp! I liked these metal clamps better than some of the plastic clamps that we current have, the silicone interior part of the clamps was sturdy and non-slip! Worth a try and definitely worth it for the price!

Sharing a behind the scene of my social media post setup. I used these clamps for my social media backdrop setup, this one is just a sample picture but this helped me big time. This cloth is a towel material mat hanging with the help of these clamps. This tells how handy and strong these are to hold quite a bit of heavy stuff. I can think of so many ways to use this. Love this! From now on its my buddy for my DIY projects and backdrop settings.

We used the MasterCraft 3" flat spring clamps for a couple of smaller projects. I have to be honest that I wouldn't say they're built for heavy duty jobs as recommended...it could have been a fluke but on one project where we used it to hold our sliding barn door in place, when first trying to get the clamp into place and opening to the max of it's jaw opening (2") when it was clamped, the rubber protection began to come off and we had to re-adjust it a couple times. When used for a small project- just securing a board that needed holes drilled out, they seemed to work fine but the jaw opening was no where near maxed out. I do like that they're carbon steel but I I would recommend using these for jobs where the jaw opening is not maxed and then you should be ok!
