Can’t find studs. Will beep anywhere. Tried it on the cupboard door, wooden table, on the couch. Just a waste of time and money

Junk Quality

Bought about a year ago, tried to use several times. This thing could not find a stud if it was laying right on it, let alone through gypsum board or wood paneling. Electrical detection is better but spotty. Finally threw it away to stop the disappointments. No, it was not a weak battery. Read 9.56 volts.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Pour la calibration: Calibrer l'appareil sur un mur avant de numériser pour le bois ou de métal. Remarque: Lors de l'étalonnage, le détecteur ne doit pas être placé directement sur un montant, comme le métal, les zones humides ou fraîchement peintes matériau dense car cela empêcher l'appareil de calibrage correctement. Si cela est fait sur bois ou de métal l'unité ne donnera aucune indication lorsque se est éloigné de la zone. Déplacer vers un emplacement différent et essayez à nouveau. Calibrage: Tenez le détecteur de montants à plat contre la surface, la prise de contact ferme. Appuyez et maintenez la touche «ON» touche alors que l'appareil est en cours d'étalonnage. Après l'achèvement de l'étalonnage de l'unité émet un bip et l'icône "" se affiche sur l'écran LCD. Le voyant se allume alors le mode de profondeur de clavier (1 "(2,5 cm) de profondeur par défaut). IMPORTANT: L'unité ne peut pas être déplacé avant l'étalonnage est terminé, "" Apparaît sur l'écran LCD et les LED se allume Si vous rencontrez toujours des problèmes avec la calibration, s'il vous plaît prendre l'appareil au magasin et demandez à quelqu'un de le regarder pour déterminer s'il est défectueux.
