Great consumer grade tool

This was my first ever ceramic floor tile project and I picked up one of these units on sale. I'd planned to use it to do all the cuts, but soon found that a saw is too slow and messy for doing a lot of simple straight cuts (I went out and bought one of those score/break tools for that). I did however find the saw excellent for complicated cuts around plumbing and doorways. Overall, it seems well made and was easy to use.

Q: Can this saw cut marble and granite tile?

A: The product is not suitable for cutting materials such as marble, fine stoneware and granite. Tile floor made up of these materials must not be cut.
