These aren't for plumbing, and there are better tools for opening jars. I'm not saying they're a bad product, but the use case I bought them for clearly wasn't their intended one.

Strap wrench - get it for your tool kit

Had to buy this to loosen glass covers on oven lights to reset bulbs in sockets. Covers were too tight to loosen by hand. Small strap wrench worked great!
