Garbage product

I got this stud finder as a gift. It does not work well. It claims that there is electricity everywhere. It doesn’t accurately indicate where the stud is. I had to pull out my wall paint to cover the holes I made trying to find a stud. This product is as good as using nothing at all and taking a wild guess.

Inaccurate, as others described

Unfortunately too late to return. On one isolated drywall it was able to indicate studs, supposedly correctly. On others it just beeps constantly, besides randomly indicating AC currents (especially if moved a tad too fast or over surface irregularities).

Bought this product from Canadian Tire and when I attempted to use it, nothing happened. It wouldn’t even turn on. I thought it was me, so I went and bought a new battery; and still it wouldn’t turn on. Total piece of garbage. Don’t buy it, waste of money.

I thought it was me... I drilled so many holes were there was supposed to be a stud, well there was nothing, no studs and no wires. I thought I better google what I’m doing wrong, well I end up reading the reviews, it’s NOT me! It’s just an absolutely useless tool.
