Q: Are you able to attach a small vice to the top?

A: I doubt that the cabinet is sturdy enough to attach a vise to it. The wood (MDF) shelf is too thin to make a secure attachment point. You would need a substantially thicker surface to install a proper vise.

A: Steel supports/frame and thin gauge steel panels. Shelves seem to be MDF or similar material.
