my son gave me this hood as a xmas gift , i haven't actually welded with it yet but i can say its better constructed ( heavier ) then the hood i usually use , its more comfortable as in it fits well because of the head ban adjustment mechanism and it fits while im wearing my glasses which is a huge plus
