Solid Level with High Accuracy, designed for Precision. Contact edges [top & bottom] are precision-milled, so have a micro-grooved look & feel, rather than smooth. Looks good, feels good [well-built]. Bought it on sale at a great price. Better & sturdier than the I-Beam version of the Mastercraft Level.

A: No, the Mastercraft Box Beam levels aren't magnetic. There are magnetic options in the Maximum (057-5619 SKU) and Johnson (057-5626 SKU) brands.
