A: If installed securely to the studs using the lag bolts provided, the product info says the shelf can hold up to 500 lbs evenl distributed.

Q: Can 2 of these be mounted in a row to create one long (120”) storage space? In other words, can two support legs be installed beside one another?

A: If the ceiling could bear enough loading, the 2 units could be mounted in a row to create one long (120") storage space. In addition, please note never exceed the loading capacity (500lb /226.8kg per unit) while using this product.

Q: This shows that the mounting arms are along the edge that is 45" wide. Can it be rotated so that the arms are on the 60" side? i have an cushions that are 45" by 70" so i would need the arms to be located on the 60" side.

A: Sorry the four legs could not be installed in 60" side edge. As you could see, the four pieces wire grids and four legs are fixed on the bottom support bars, so the legs could not be moved to 60" side edge.

Q: How much weight can this unit hold? The smaller one says it holds 200lbs but this one doesn’t have a weight listed it just states it’s heavy duty and how many medium sized boxes fit.

Q: My garage celling has a slope roof. Can this unit be installed so that the legs can accommodate the slope and keep the flat area for storage level?

A: The angle bracket for the HD Ceiling Storage unit, 60 x 45 in, is fixed. However, the slightly smaller Ceiling Storage unit # 68-0380 , 45 x 45 in, has an adjustable angle bracket, which makes this unit much more suitable for installation on a sloped roof...........If you would like further detalls on 68-0380, we would invite you to call our Customer Relations Departement (1-800-387-8803) to obtain a copy of the owner's manual.
