Q: What grade of steel is used in these chisels and punches?

A: The punches and chisels are made of an alloy steel by the name of 40CR. This steel is used as it accepts heat treatment very well, which of course is what gives the tool its strength.

Q: Can these be used with the mastercraft maximum heavy-duty Hammer drill ?

A: Unfortunately, cold chisels are not intended to be used in a hammer drill. A hammer drill is only used for drilling with specialized hammer drill bits that will work in concrete, brick, stone etc.
