blade wont dislodge

when the saw was operational it worked great then the blade stuck and wont come out i got online to see if there was any feedback and only found that someone else had the same problem and got no reply when he left the question on this site

I understand it's discontinued, and that's a pity since I own this for over 2 years, abused it on all kind of materials and the machine didn't even blink. And this is one of the few tools that I find the laser guide to be useful

A: It's a measure of how the blade turns, and the resistance side-to-side. Sometimes you'll want the blade to be rigid (like if you're doing a straight cut). Sometimes you'll want it to be more flexible (so you can make turns, etc.). The switch controls that,

Q: Jig saw blades Does Canadian Tire make saw blades for Model # 54-8223-4 Jig Saw and if they do, I have never been able to find them in any of your store locations. I'm obliged to use the BOSCH jig saw blades which fit this model.

A: it seems to take either the bosch t bladed or the conventional type. No information in the pathetic manual
