5amp grinder

Looked like a great deal when I bought it. Finally pulled it out of its box after a few months. Started to get very hot and smoke was visible to the point I deemed it unsafe! Grinder sits on my shelf collecting dust. I unfortunately keep forgetting to return it to Canadian Tire and I can’t find the receipt

Buy the Grinder Seperate

Grinder has been very good, have had no com,plaints. Worked well on everything I have ever used it for. The discs that come with the kit however are not the greatest. i would recommend buying the grinder separate and buying better quality discs.

A: Its strong enough yes. But not buttersmooth as even this will go through metal slowly, guessing its their nature.

Q: 11000RPM is high position what RPM is low position?

A: Angle grinders are single speed tools, there is no RPM in low position. The tool will reach a stable speed after it is turned on to work.

Q: Will a 4 1/2" x 1/8" masonry disc fit a 54-7130 5A angle grinder

A: The wheel diameter for the 054-7130 is 4 ½”. However, you will need to double check that the arbor size is correct for the disc. The size of the grinding wheel should be 7/8”.
