I bought this lock because I knew it was going to be exposed to the elements. I use it to lock my storage shed. I had to add somethings to my shed after a rainfall and water was pooled up inside of the cover protecting the keyhole. A rust coloured liquid came out. The lock wouldn't close properly after that. I had to use the key to "open" the locking device just to shut the lock, then turn the key to lock it in place. I've only opened the lock 4 times now. I'm quite disappointed because I always thought Mastercraft was a good name.
