Useless waste of my time

All i wanted to do was staple some cable real quick and move on but no, the useless waste of resources did nothing but cause me stress and had me swearing real loud. Every staple that actual came out was a mangled mess and what lucky if one side was actually in the wood, 90% of the time the staple wouldn't make it out of the gun and would jam up. Returning the trash tomorrow, right after finding a quality product elsewhere.

DO NOT BUY THIS...

I had another Mastercraft stapler that broke. Brought it back to get a replacement but found it was no longer carried. They offered me this one to replace it. Figured it looked rugged enough for what I needed. Brought it home and never took it out of the package until I needed to use it. Opened it, loaded the new staples, and CLICK...would not drive a 1/4 inch staple into soft pine. Left a half mangled staple sitting deformed on top of the material. Tried again...same result. Tried a 1/2 inch staple. More than 1/4 inch showing after a feeble attempt. Noticed a button for plus/minus on it, not idea what it was for but assumed due to lack of instructions that it was a power adjustment. Flicked the switch and tried again. This time the staple never made it out of the gun. Don't know what the purpose of the switch on the front is for, it doesn't seem to do anything. Put it back in the package and awaiting this COVID19 thing to end so I can bring it back. Mastercraft products not what they used to be. At least not in this case. Very disappointed.

Need instructions on how to load staples

I worked on this stapler for an hour trying to figure out how to load staples, finally googled it, what a waste of time, why is there not instructions as it doesnt load like other staplers!! I would recommend this stapler but it desperatley needs instructions!
