Best price you’ll ever find on insulated tools

I own one old pair and one new pair (a spare) that i use on service calls as an electrician. The newer pair feel much cheaper than the old pair, the joints move less smoothly and i found burrs from manufacturing on them (didn’t affect their performance and were easily removed, but still, that should be cleaned off before it’s packaged) The older pair never had such issues, and the insulation looks different, so i think it’s a different manufacturer. I would still recommend them however, because they work fine (not as nice as my maximums) but you simply are not going to find a better price on insulated tools. These things get ungodly expensive yet these are sold at a comparable price to the rest of Mastercraft tools

Yes, I recommend this product.

Practical Set

I bought this because I wanted a set, and in the photo it is shown as having the Electrician's Pliers/Strippers 58-4800-6. NOTE that this set does not have the 58-4800-6 as shown in the photo. It comes with 58-4797-4, which is about twice as heavy as the other one, and has no stripping feature at all. It is a plier for cutting and holding wire, but not for stripping. This is very disappointing since the other one strips wires from 14 to 22ga.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions

1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: Where can I get the 58-4800-6 plier? Hi I am trying to buy a set of this, but all of them comes with the lineman pliers instead of 58-4800-6 pliers. Please let me know how can I exchange it to the one with wire stripper! thanks

  • A: We don’t sell this particular wire stripper individually, we carry other wire strippers in the assortment in our open-stock section.
