We're very sorry to hear that your product didn’t perform as expected. A brand-new saw can sometimes ship slightly out of calibration. Please refer to page 23 of the Instruction Manual. Figure 11 explains how to fix a 90 degree misalignment. You can download a copy instruction manual on Canadian Tire's website. Great Value and a quality tool

Very good quality saw purchased at an excellent sale price. The integrated LED work light is appreciated. A laser guide would have been a great feature to have but at the price point not a necessity.

As per page 4 of this model's instruction manual, the cutting capacity is as follows: 3 1/2 x 12” (8.9 x 30.5 cm) crosscut at 0° mitre, 0° bevel 3 1/2 x 8 1/2” (8.9 x 21.6 cm) mitre cut at 45° mitre, 0° bevel 1 1/2 x 8 1/2” (3.8 x 21.6 cm) compound cut at 45° mitre, 45° bevel 1 1/2 x 12” (3.8 x 30.5 cm) crosscut at 45° bevel, left
