Q: Can this back saw be used for light metal?

Q: If sharpening is not an option, can the blade be replaced, or are you saying the entire product has to be replaced?
6 years agoA: There are no replacement blades available so the product will have to be replaced if the saw teeth are no longer functional

Q: Can this saw be resharpened? This is a dandy backsaw for the price. It's not an expensive saw, especially on sale, but it seems a shame if you can't resharpen it.
11 years agoA: No, it is not recommended. The heat caused by sharpening could wear away the hardness of the teeth, making them wear down at a faster rate. Also, sharpening by hand may cause increased vibration while in use and uneven cuts.
