    Q: Can this pump be left outside in the spring when it starts to thaw with some ice on ground?

    • A: Hi Misty, Ice can damage the pump and the switch. If during a freeze/thaw cycle, I would not recommend that. If the water is not going to freeze, then Ok to use. Thanks

    Q: Can this pump be left outdoors over the winter? I am in southwestern Ontario.

    • A: Hi Doug, No. The pump will be damaged if left where it could freeze. if it will get cold enought to freeze water, remove it and put it back when it starts to melt. Thanks
