I needed it to grind some small bits of tile away. It was perfect for the job. It's basic and corded, but it was also a really good price. Do we really need cordless everything? I've had some corded tools for 35+ years and used them for a lot of house renos. Though I do like a cordless drill/driver tbh.

Weak tool housing

I've had this a little over a year, but when you put the pin in to take out the blades, the entire housing split in half. It is basically unusable now. Be careful to not over tighten your bits.

I have a the Mastercraft Rotary Tool. Used a Dremel for years before it died. Variable speed is really great feature. Where can I get some parts for it, in particular a collett for it that will allow drilling with .5 mm bits.

- A: I’d go to YouTube. Put in the model. Lots of bits and stuff but the use can vary. It’s like a screwdriver. It’s used to screw things in but you can open paint cans, remove caulking, reach into small spaces.4 years agoHelpful?

- A: Yes ...thank you I see your point. In the picture you display, there are approx. 50 sanding drums, yet in the package and the list of items there are in fact only 8 . No ... wait , the list you just posted says 6 large and 4 small sanding drums while in fact the list on the box says 4 of each and that was what was in the box . Lesson learned .... the package itself is the only listing that should be relied upon .7 years agoHelpful?
Q: Need Follow up to carbon brush size answer I need the full dimensions of the carbon brush- L x W x H please. The manual says to replace carbon brush when it's less then 6mm. But your saying not to replace it, but to just bring the rotary back to Canadian Tire for replacement rotary.
