The Mastercraft 1/2-HP Thermoplastic Waterfall Pump works well for continuous operation waterfall applications. Designed for permanent installation, corrosion-resistant thermoplastic utility pump has a stainless-steel shaft for optimal durability. Powered by a 1/2 HP motor, this electric utility pump has a maximum flow rate of 2400 GPH (9085 L/h). Built-in thermal overload protection prevents the motor from overheating by switching off the waterfall pump before damage is caused. This utility water pump has an air relief valve to prevent air locks. A 1” hose adaptor allows for easy installation of this utility sink pump, and a carrying handle provides easy portability. Male PVC adaptors, female PVC adaptors, PVC pipes and PVC elbows (sold separately) may be required in order to install the pump. This product includes a 30’ (9m) power cord.

Q: The description says "Waterfall pump" but if it is fully submersible as mentioned in one of the answers, can I use it to empty a pool?

Q: Does the motor handle frequent daily starts? I plan to use it in shallow well to fill watering trough with float switch turning on once or twice per day. Replacing a worn out #062-3570-6 pump but want a longer cord.
8 months agoA: Thank you for your question. You can use this pump for this application however it is a continuous running pump. You will need to connect to power to run it and disconnect from power when you are finished using it.

Q: Would this pump be suitable to install inside a rain barrel to supply a garden hose?
5 years agoA: The waterfall pump can be used for this application. The pump is a continuous operation pump so it will have to be turned on and off at the power source each time it is used. The customer can also use sku #062-3409” Mastercraft 1/3-HP Submersible Utility Pump” for this application.

Q: what would be the max height that this unit will push water on a steady upgrade....example....on a 100 ft line at a height of 20 ft
5 years agoA: This model will pump approximately 960 gallons per hour at 20 feet. Please see flow chart below. 0623407p 5ft-2450 GPH; 10ft-2040 GPH; 15ft-1560 GPH; 20ft-960 GPH; Max.Head: 27ft Max. Flow: 2450GPH.
