The dual-voltage (115V/230V) motor is factory set at 115V
For use on shallow well applications where well is 25' (7.6m) deep or less
1-1/4" (3.2cm) NPT suction with 1" (2.5cm) NPT discharge

Be careful, pump is preset to 115V. The manual says prewired to 220V NOT preset to. Make sure you take your cover off.

Great once assembled properly!

Just got the pump properly put together... the instruction manual isn't very great with pics of parts that need to go together!! Finally got the one (seemed to be an extra part and didn't show in the manual) added and now it works great... so far!! Suggest that all parts that come with it be well identified in a pic with a number and then assembly should go smoothly.

Jet Water Pump

It took some leveling to get the pump working properly. I use it to pump water to our trailer from the lake which is a steep incline. So far, satisfied with the pressure it provides.

Q: RE: Mastercraft 1/2 HP Shallow Jet Pump - I am replacing an older version of the same model. It is installed, but the pump is releasing the pressure into the source of the water. Do I need to return or is there an easy fix?

A: you need a back flow preventer , I believe it's also called a foot valve

A: This pump does not have a start capacitor. It has a running capacitor with 25uf/250v.

A: The 1/2 HP Shallow Well Jet Pump will draw a maximum of 9.8 amps. It is recommended that the generator provides 20 amps dedicated for the pump.
