Built-in thermal overload protection prevents the motor from overheating by switching off the pump before damage is caused
The pre-set pressure switch has an automatic shut-off feature, turning on the pump at 30 PSI and turning it off at 50 PSI
The dual-voltage (115V/230V) motor is factory set at 115V
For use on shallow well applications where well is 25' (7.6m) deep or less
1-1/4" (3.2cm) NPT suction with 1" (2.5cm) NPT discharge

we purchased this year, and upon installation, on the first run through to fill the pressure tank - the jet pump overheated and quit. Thankfully we had purchased one 3 years ago, and we installed that one, and it is performing correctly.

Be careful, pump is preset to 115V. The manual says prewired to 220V NOT preset to. Make sure you take your cover off.

A: The 1/2 HP Shallow Well Jet Pump will draw a maximum of 9.8 amps. It is recommended that the generator provides 20 amps dedicated for the pump.
