used pump in new box

the pump was in what appeared to be a brand new box
i traveled two days back to back becaue the pump in the new box was used rusty and did not work when i gave it to my plumber to installl 400 km of travel as i did return the not new pump in brand new box and exchanged it for a refund not exchange not impressed canadian tire basicall 8 hours of time of mine plumber had extra service calls and i am not impressed

A: Remove the priming plug on the top of the pump. Fill with water. replace plug. You may have to do this a couple of times.

A: The item does not have an adjustable pressure switch. It has a Factory Pre-Set 30/50 Pressure Switch (turns on at 30 PSI and turns off at 50 PSI). Intake is 1-1/4” (3.2 cm) FNPT Discharge is 1” (2.5 cm) FNPT

Q: If I order this online, will I receive the pump shown in the here on the internet. The Queensway store and 2 other stores have 2 other pumps with this product number. I want the pump shown to replace one exactly like it. If not, can you find me the pump at a Canadian tire store somewhere near Etobicoke? At the recent sale price?

Q: What amp breaker do we need to use for this pump

A: This is a dual voltage pump. The pumps running Amps are 8.4A @ 115 Volts and 4.2A @ 230 Volts. The following information is a GENERAL GUIDELINE ONLY. We highly recommend employing an electrician to install this pump as there are several factors needed to accurately determine the breaker Amps (length of run, type of wire used, and the gauge of wire). As a general guideline the breaker Amps required would be: If using a circuit breaker: • 20 Amps for 115 V • 15 Amps for 230 V if using a circuit breaker If using a dual element fuse: • 15 Amps for 115 V • 7 Amps for 230 V
