A: Yes, it can be used for this application. IMPORTANT: The electrical outlet and pump must not be located near the actual shower. You must ensure that your hands are dry and the you are not standing in any water when turning the pump on or off. The pump should be disconnected from the power source when not in use.

Q: 062-3421-2 will this pump shut off when I turn the valve off on my hose or will it continue to build up pressure

A: It is a somewhat positive displacement pump that would normally continue to build pressure however it runs a rubber impeller which will only build to a certain pressure before the impeller blades will no longer maintain a seal and it will fail to increase any more pressure the extra strain on the pump will soon cause it to shut off on thermal overload
