I purchased this lock for my tool shed, I recently found out thieves tried to cut the lock but were unsuccessful, there was a 2-3mm cut mark in the shackle and visible cracks beginning to form after they tried to cut it a second time but it did not break. Either they gave up or got spooked either way this lock held out and saved my stuff. I would recommend a slightly bigger diameter shackle or pad lock that hides the shackle so it can't be cut with bolt cutters but I have to give this lock some credit it did the job.
