Cheap, and it shows!

Super cheap and unlikely to deter any thieves. I thought it would be a good bike lock, but the lock structure makes it pretty weak. I would not recommend this whatsoever.

Great in all Weather

Used to lock my Boat Motor and is in all elements, rain, snow, sun and has not rusted yet nor showing any signs of doing so. Has been on my boat for 2-yrs!

The only issue is the angle of the lock. It makes it a bit difficult at times to get the key in. Otherwise, it's great.

Q: If I buy 2 of these will the keys work on either lock?

A: While Master Lock does produce some products that are keyed-alike this is not one of them. There are thousands of keys/cylinders used when producing our locks; if the end user purchases another unit of shelf if is very unlikely that they would match.
