Heavy weight, flat, and no curled corners!

Bought this BBQ mat recently. Really like the thick rubber material as it lays flat under the BBQ. Before using it, I rolled it out on deck in the hot sun and put some weight on the curled edges. Within a couple hours the heat helped to flatten it perfectly. No curled corners and it’s got some weight to it so the wind won’t flip it up around your BBQ. Great purchase.

Q: Both sides are different, which side goes down? Is it safe on porcelain tiles?

  • A: Hello, the smooth side of the rubber mat goes on top, and the rough side goes under. We also suggest consulting the porcelain floor tiles manufacturing company if it safe to use rubber mat on the surface. Thank you.

Q: Can this grill mat be used on a cement surface, or will it discolor the cement?

  • A: Like anything that you put directly on a surface, the area underneath it, whether it’s a mat or a carpet, will not be exposed to the elements/weather. Once you remove the mat or rug or carpet etc. That area will look different from the surrounding area, however this probably will even itself out at some point.
