Easy baking with these silicone bakeware. I use a sturdy pan underneath for most of these in the oven. The silicone makes baking with little, to no oil, possible.

Jammed into the box, deformed

This set is alright, but by the nature of how tightly they pack the pieces into the box, they come out completely bent out of shape and deformed. I'd rather they just pack them properly to let them retain their original shapes. Other than this issue, it was decent value on sale. Some items are not sold separately, which is unfortunate.

worth it when on sale

I've had these for years. bought them on 1/2 price saleand use them all the time. at least 10 years now. the muffin pan has dried out and cracked so I'll be replacing it.
I use parchment paper on a stone instead of the cookie sheet so it makes a great cooling mat for the hair straightener!
No oil needed, just let your baked item cool for about 10 minutes and it will pop right out.

A: The idea is that you use the silicone baking sheet to line a regular metal baking sheet, in lieu of baking paper or greasing the metal sheet. it is lower in fat and better for the environment (no paper to throw out)

Q: Do these have to be put on top of a metal cookie sheet to bake in the oven? Or can they be used on their own, in place of for example a loaf pan, right on the wire rack of the oven?

A: Hi Jenny, Any of the items can be used directly on a baking rack in the oven but you may find it easier to handle to use on a cookie sheet (ie the silicone baking mat is easier to lift and transfer on a cookie sheet in the oven rather than usnig on its own to bake cookies). You can use the loaf pan right on the wire rack of the oven without issue, just be careful when placing on the rack and and not to overfill as there may be slight bending depending on the weight of your batter.
