WHY IS THIS DISCONTINUED?!

This product is amazing and inexpensive! all o fthe other portable bbq's listed are $100 plus. I've had this product for 4 years now and its still going great and everyone compliments me on it and can't believe how great it works and asks me how much I paid and where I got it from. It's sturdy, and does the job. I've cooked things from chicken to beef! Bring this product back Canadian tire! or at least send me another for when this one kicks out on me!

A: It depends on the nozzle you’re screwing into the regulator. If the nozzle fits, you can use a larger propane tank, yes.

A: No hose is necessary so long as you are using the small portable screw-in style tank. If you are using a larger tank, you will need the hose.

Q: Is the gas connector supposed to hiss I have used the BBQ 3 times and it makes me a little nervous with the hissing sound. I read in another review that there are holes that allow gas to mix to make the gas burn. Also, after 3 uses the top part has started to darken. Is that normal?

A: This is common. For $24.99, you might just as soon replace the whole unit rather than waste your time and effort finding a replacement. It's a shame but you get what you pay for here and so quality is not importnant.

Q: small tank how long does the small propane tank last??

A: Depends how long you are cooking with it and at what temperature. Hypothetically, if you have the regulator on low it might burn for 3-4 hours. On high, you might get 90 minutes out of it. Although cooking on high for 90 minutes with this unit will turn the grill a piping-hot bright red colour and might make the whole unit too hot to even touch.

A: With the convenient collapsible steel legs you can absolutely cook on a table top with this grill. I would estimate 4 to 5 inches of clearance. Be mindful of any plastic table cloth that might be beneath the grill, but you’re perfectly fine otherwise.

Q: hole in regulator pipe the pipe that the regulator connects to has holes in it on both sides (see picture). wouldn't this cause the propane to leak out?

A: Sorry this is a question about the holes...does the burner come with a part that rotates to cover these holes while in use ? Like a hollow cylinder that fits on top of the end of the burner?
