Poor design

I purchased this and soon after the grates rusted and warped.
Canadian Tire gladly exchanged it for a new one even though I had lost my receipt!
I just returned the second one for the same problem, and the wheels fell off. I find it's difficult to clean, and the flame often blew out. I'm not happy with the product.
Once again though I am very happy to say Canadian Tire refunded my money,(last Sale price, as I didn't have a receipt) and allowed me to purchase a Colman product instead! I am hoping for better success! I give Canadian Tire customer service. 5 stars!

1st time I used this bbq - the grates warped and they don't clean off good, other than that I like how compact it is, maybe they should just have a grill instead of a grate

Do not buy!

I would not recommend this to anyone. The only good thing about it is it's portability. We bought ours for camping purposes and the cooking plate started to rust after one season! It's hard to clean and doesn't cook very evenly.

Q: assembly? is there any assembly involved or just open, hook up the tank and go? i bought a brand new bbq few years ago. it was so complicated, i ended up giving up and chucking it out.

A: Yes assembly is required. Not too bad but the instructions could be more explicit.Takes minimum mechanical skills and about 3/4's of an hour to put together.

A: If your stainless steel grates are pitted with rust they are not safe to use.

Q: can you use a universal hose on this bbq now so you can use a 20 pound tank?

A: Use only 1-pound (16.4 oz) cylinder, unless proper hose adapter is assembled to grill for use with 20lb tank (sold separately).

Q: coleman 1.02 lb tank not screwing in. the connector is too big for the 1.02 coleman propane tank, I try to screw it in and it is very lose. is it a defect ?
