Broke first time I used it

The handle broke the first time I used it while lifting the turkey out of the pan. Tried to return it to Canadian Tire - I didn't have a receipt because why would I keep a receipt for this? They couldn't find my purchase in their system so they couldn't do anything. Straight to the garbage.

Q: In the specs it say's heat ranges to 260F , but don't you cook most roasts and turkeys at 325F t9 350F range. So this would not be a good product for that ??
